A celebratory fair in the square in conjunction with
LOCAL AUTHOR DAY by The Book Lady Bookstore!

What to expect:

▫️ silly games like chicken cornhole & spoon and egg races
▫️ peacock crafts from Live Oak Public Libraries
▫️ sign & bubble wand-making from Starlandia Art Supply
▫️ a pop-up art sale & silent auction of Panhandle Slim originals
▫️ improv opera by Moon River Opera
▫️ a Flannery look-alike contest you can compete in
(Come dressed or buy a period piece at the event from Vintage Vortex and Hats by Holly!
You’re also welcome to dress up as one of Flannery’s characters just for fun!)
▫️ books & Flannery-related souvenirs from the Childhood Home gift shop
▫️ a musical promenade around the square led by the musicians of Sweet Thunder Band
